Before you get all excited and want to write me hateful responses, let me remind you that this a review for readers who are looking for more than technically female on female Bdsm erotica.Lesbians come in all shades of gender expression, this is why I was disappointed by the hyper masculinization of tops and doms in this erotica collection. It's cool people like to use "daddy," "sir," and neutralish pronouns like "hym" and "ze" for their tops, but this is not a turn on for me and I doubt I'm the only one. I guess I expected more than one "Mistrss," Ma'am," "mommy" or feminine-like pronoun for tops in this collection, and when I say "more" I mean more than 2 stories! Almost all the tops in this collection are butch or masculine Identifed people, and this is disappointing considering not all lesbians are butches and certainly not all top/doms/switches are either. I think this book would be more aptly titled "queer Bdsm erotica" since it has more of a focus on gender play than any other kink in general (to the extent gender play is even kink at all, I always thought of it as vanilla since there are no implicit power roles or Even necessarily SM qualities).Bottom line: if "sir" and "daddy" are turn offs for you, don't get this book!If you find butch/femme dynamics tired and overused, don't get this book!If you find on strap-on sex and penetration as a form of kink in erotica a turn off or tired, don't get this book!Almost every story in this book incorporates this tired old shit.I'm a dildo loving gender neutral butch, but honestly I could have been reading free straight Bdsm erotica with better plots and better characters.
